To promote the Photography Day on the 6th Sept the Market House Photography Group have invited PEPPA PIG to Long Sutton. Meeet her in the Market Place between 10 and 12 noon on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th of August and again on the Photography Day at the Market House on the 6th September.

Have your picture taken with Peppa and collect it on the 6th September.

Long Sutton

New Beginners Course

The whole idea is to introduce people to photography

and also to help them familarise themselves with their

cameras, gain confidence and most importantly improve

their photography. The first few sessions will be explaining

some of the terminology associated with photography

(depth of field, lighting etc) and how it all fits together to

make the ideal photograph. The group is aimed at complete

beginners or those that wish to develop their skills but feel

the main group is too much for them. It is hoped that the

group will run on a monthly basis.

Following a really enjoyable visit to Long Sutton in 2014 Peppa has decided to revisit this bringing her brother George for a BBQ at the St Marys Church Hall on Sunday 5th July between 12 & 3pm. There will be an opportunity to have your photo taken with Peppa & George or individually. There will be face painting and a lucky dip. Please come along and see Peppa & George.

Photography Workshop for Beginners

New photography workshop for beginners starting 24th October at the Market House, Long Sutton. Run by the photography group.

Chris Vaughan presentation 13th April 2016

Chris Vaughan started his career at 14 years old, taking on the responsibility of being Lincoln City's club photographer - alongside his Dad!

Since then, he has worked in local newspapers for 10 years before launching his own business, Chris Vaughan Photography, in October 2011, where he specialises in working with businesses to supply their photography used in a variety of marketing and publicity material. He also shoots sport for a national sports photographic agency, CameraSport, covering top level sports, such as football, rugby, cricket and tennis.

His time so far with CameraSport has seen him cover two Champions League Finals, the Rugby World Cup, the Rugby League World Cup, cricket internationals as well as exclusive behind the scenes features.

Chris will showcase some of the images from these events as well as sharing stories behind the images and the not so glamorous side of sports photography that's not always seen!
