Free Family Portraits

The photography group are offering FREE family portraits for everyone in the community. The session is to be hosted by The Bancroft Nursing Home in Long Sutton

 

Novice Group Display

Following a successful practical session in St Marys Church & Churchyard the Novice Group will be displaying their photographs in St Marys for the Church Mission Week from the 8th to 14th June, these will be seen by lots of visitors including the former Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams.  Do call into St Marys and view the work of our novices.

 

Character Evening

We will be hosting a Mickey & Minnie Mouse Character Evening at St Marys Church on Saturday 13th June in association with the De Montfort University Choir from Leicester who will be performing on the night.  There will be opportunities for you to have your picture taken with either or both characters, all free of charge.   There will also be a face painting artist in attendance.

 

Annual Photography Day

Plans are underway for our annual photography day which will feature guest speaker Jamie Hall, who is a Canon UK official photographer.  Jamie’s presentation will be a ticketed event.   We will also be announcing the winners in our Lincolnshire Churches Competition which is currently underway.  More details to follow shortly.

 

Chris Herring Workshop

There a still a few places available on our Chris Herring workshop which takes place in Norfolk on Sunday 27th September.

 

2014 Lincolnshire Landscape Winner

Congratulations to Jonathan Bye the winner of the 2014 Lincolnshire Landscapes his picture "Diagonals" was taken from Tydd Low Road, Long Sutton.  Jonathan received his prize at our photography day on 6th September 2014.

We are very pleased to announce that Kings Lynn Through Time written by Dr Paul Richards and assisted in part by the Market House Photography Group has been launched.  It is available to purchase for £14.99.

Anglia Regional Co-op Calendar Competition

Congratulations to Steve White on achieving recognition for a superb print in the Anglia Regional Co-op Calendar competition, see Steve's winning photograph in the calendar.

 

Champion of Champions 2013

Congratulations to Miranda Apps who was crowned the 2013 Champion of Champions following the public vote at the Annual Exhibition.

 

Annual Exhibition 2013

Thank you to everyone to took part in the annual exhibition we had 165 visitors during the event.

 

Boston Belle Trip

10 members and their guests enjoyed their trip down the River Witham on the 21st July aboard the Boston Belle.  

 

Cambridge Visit

12 members and guests visited Jesus College, Cambridge and also enjoyed a punt down the River Cam which you can see from the above picture with Kings College in the background.  A superb day.
